La Notte Della Taranta is a major traditional music festival in Salento, Italy, which has grown into a global movement over the past 20 years. The festival appoints a new maestro every year, and in 2010, Ludovico Einaudi was chosen. This unique cultural event brings together the great ethnic traditions of Italy and Greece, and has become a significant folklore meeting for the Salento community.
